Located in Magnolia, Crown Hill, and Bellevue, Seattle Swim Academy teaches critical swim skills to children of all ages.
Welcome to Seattle Swim Academy! At SSA, we're all about blending the joy of swimming with essential water safety techniques. Our mission? To equip kids with vital swim skills that could be life-saving in emergencies. Nestled in the heart of Magnolia and Queen Anne, we offer a delightful and secure space for kids aged 2.5 to 12.
But swimming isn't just about safety—it's a gateway to lifelong fun and fitness. The investment in mastering this skill reaps benefits for years to come. Our dedicated swim instructors, backed by comprehensive training, ensure each child progresses at a pace that's just right for them.
Meet Sam Sandquist, the driving force behind SSA. With over 20 years in aquatics, Sam's enthusiasm for swimming is infectious. His commitment to coaching extends from the pool to the field, having coached various soccer teams and sports camps. A California native, Sam's love for swimming persisted even after relocating to the northwest 15 years ago. And when he's not at SSA? You might find him catching waves along the Oregon coast or parts of Mexico, satisfying his saltwater cravings.
